At Springmount Fine Foods we create a range of delicious gourmet artisan products that are all carefully hand crafted in small batches. We source our ingredients from as close to home as possible, home being Springmount Victoria, which is between Daylesford and Ballarat. By doing this we can assure that the quality is the very best.

The business was created in 2015, with Black Garlic being our first product and the range has expanded from there.  Growing garlic was one of our passions, but it wasn't until we saw black garlic on an episode of Masterchef that our interest was spiked.  Like most other people, we assumed it was a variety of garlic, but after much research we realised it was a painstakingly slow process of ageing the garlic in a low temperature oven for 40 days that created the sweet, black, sticky delight.  Everyone that has tried it has fallen in love with the unique, sweet-yet-savoury flavour, and soft caramelised texture.

We do a lot of Food & Wine Festivals and it has shown us how this new generation of foodies are not only looking for exciting food that is beautifully presented but they are now craving that bit of theatre to accompany the experience.  That's why we developed our gourmet pearl range to be able to offer another unique product with a touch of sophistication.   These pearls have a fine gel coating and a liquid centre that pop with a burst of flavour once in the mouth and our Strawberry Pearl for Champagne are the perfect addition to a special event.  We also produce cheese platter fruit pastes and a range of sauces and vinaigrettes

We are proud to have won multiple medals at the Australian Food Awards, the Royal Sydney Fine Food Show and the Royal Hobart Fine Food Show over the past 6 years and the future is only going to get brighter. 2019 was also a huge year for us winning the Regional Development Grampians Award at the Ballarat Business Awards. We have heads full of ideas for new products that are yet to be created and are looking forward to working with our expanding list of retailers, chefs and lovers of gourmet foods.
